Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with tax filings. You will play a critical role in providing the data necessary for informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Maintain the chart of accounts, perform regular ledger reconciliations, and handle day-to-day bookkeeping work.
• Oversee billing processes, vendor payments, and aging reports to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Assist with tax preparation and support the coordination of audits.
• Support the management team in developing annual budgets and monitoring variances.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial transactions across various platforms.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, or SAP).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).

Nice-to-Have / Plus Points

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred but not required.
• Experience maintaining structured financial records and filing systems.
