Robotics Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to join our robotics and embedded systems team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career but with strong aptitude, energy, and eagerness to learn. You will work on hands-on development in ROS, URDF modeling, multiple-view geometry, and Raspberry Pi platforms to help design and deploy robotic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop robotics software modules using ROS
- Create and refine URDF models for robots and simulations
- Implement vision-based algorithms using multiple-view geometry
- Prototype and test robotics functions on Raspberry Pi
- Collaborate with the team to integrate hardware and software components
Qualifications:
- Experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Understanding of multiple-view geometry fundamentals
- Practical development on Raspberry Pi using Python and C++
- Ability to create and edit URDF models
- Strong problem-solving mindset and motivation to grow in robotics
Good to Have:
- Experience with Gazebo or RViz simulation environments
- Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV or PCL
- Exposure to SLAM or basic navigation frameworks
- Hands-on work with robotic hardware (motors, sensors, actuators)
- Proficiency with CMake and build systems
- Experience in desktop application development (C++)
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet)
- Backend development experience
