Development Engineer (Robotics & C++)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Development Engineer (Robotics & C++)  to join our robotics and embedded systems team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career but with strong aptitude, energy, and eagerness to learn. You will work on hands-on development in ROS, URDF modeling, multiple-view geometry, and embedded platforms (Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson) to help design and deploy robotic systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop robotics software modules using ROS
  • Create and refine URDF models for robots and simulations
  • Implement vision-based algorithms using multiple-view geometry
  • Prototype and test robotics functions on Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson platforms
  • Integrate and calibrate sensors including cameras, radar/lidar, GPS, and IMU
  • Implement object detection and tracking pipelines using YOLO and similar models
  • Deploy and optimize models for edge inference using TensorRT
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate hardware and software components
  • Application development in C++

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System)
  • Understanding of multiple-view geometry fundamentals
  • Practical development on Raspberry Pi and/or Jetson platforms using Python and C++
  • Strong C++ and computing concepts
  • Ability to create and edit URDF models
  • Experience with sensor integration (camera, radar/lidar, GPS, IMU)
  • Familiarity with object detection/tracking frameworks (e.g., YOLO)
  • Exposure to edge deployment and inference optimization (e.g., TensorRT)
  • Experience in desktop application development (C++)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and motivation to grow in robotics

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Gazebo or RViz simulation environments
  • Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV or PCL
  • Exposure to SLAM or navigation frameworks (e.g., Nav2)
  • Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques
  • Hands-on work with robotic hardware (motors, sensors, actuators)
  • Proficiency with CMake and build systems
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet)
  • Backend development experience
